NERLITE DF-Series Dark-Field Illuminators provide effective low-angle lighting to targeted regions. DF-Series machine vision lights use either a single tier of LEDs mounted at either 70º (DF-50) or 90º (DF-100-1 & DF-150-1) to the optical axis, or three tiers of LEDs mounted at 75º to the optical axis (DF-150-3). For machine vision applications with parts moving at high speeds (e.g. conveyors), strobe models are available to "stop" motion for the camera.
DLA-Series Dark Field Lights
NERLITE DLA (Dual Line Array) Series Illuminators provide two linear projections of LED-based machine vision lighting. Each linear array is independently adjustable to control the angle of illumination to the region of interest. DLA-Series machine vision lights are available in either red or white strobe models.
For Flat, Diffuse Surfaces
Machine vision lighting from Dark-Field Illuminators enhances the contrast of surface features such as laser embossed or engraved marks or surface defects. DF-Series illuminators are particularly suited for applications such as BGA ball placement, reading laser-etched symbologies and inspecting surfaces with geometric contours. DLA-Series machine vision lights are especially well suited to label inspection applications.
